The other thing is that the server time is actualy set to GMT, so for once the forums times might be roughly correct (remembering the forum doesn't take into account daylight savings). :D

well the server uses a raid 5 array so that if one drive fails it can still work, and its also a faster processor then the last server (p4 3.06ghz compared to 2.4 on that last).

nah linux caches as much memory as possible so that it doesn't have to use swap ;).
Unlike windows where it'll use swap befoe the memory is totaly full.

Finaly got DAC up and running on the new server. We shouldn't have any more problems now and you might even notice some improved speeds connecting to DAC.

I've added the post new reply and new topic buttons so kindly created by Jimmyjay86 to the DAC colour scheme.

I'll be working on finishing some bits of the colour scheme today, and hopefully add more buttons :D

Well the DAC colour scheme is still very rough around the edges - and yes I do need some one to do the graphics for me :oops:

Can do html and stuff but not graphics ;)

like I said the only way to create a proper theme (ie one not based on subsilver) is to do it via CSS and the template files, creating a totaly new template :)

Now as for a DAC theme i've got one sitting on my hard drive.....not quite finished. I'll see about a V13 one when I'm finished with this.

the only way to create a proper theme is to download one of the many already created themes and edit the CSS file that comes with it. Problem is that takes forever, because you've also got to figure out what each of the vaules does meaning you've got to open up each of the template pages to find out...
