The Tech should have been much more powerful, blatantly.
Also, in my view, because magic is so easy to learn, it should be signifigantly more powerful.
And, to put it plainly, scouraging the map for an engine muffler is not fun. I have searched several dwarven mines, and none of them have it.

At first I played a Elven Meta/Summoner/Transformer that dabbled in the charismatic arts. Now I am playing a Dwarven Technologist with very high intl and augmented perception. Also am uniquley good natured, and friendly towards the fiarer sex. Also, does anyone know where to get the gun involved in ...

Rosh? Good idea? Are you joking? Rosh is the great-grand fallout daddy of Autisim, flaming and overall pretentious ignorance! While I agree that setting up a shop or something along those lines is wholly uneeded in the FO universe, Rosh, remember that Valdis is innocent of stupidity until proven gui...

While no one will doubt the insanely destructive short term nature of an atom bomb, most will argue that, in the long term, the radiation is still much more destructive. The most horrifiying thing I have ever seen is my father's pictures of people in Hiroshima. Such a large amount of the population ...

The majority of damage done by a nuclear bomb is due to radiation, and mutants inherintly have a resistance to it.

Why not instead of having you run a Nuka-Cola stand, how about your character is hired by someone more directly connected to the storyline? Say for instance, you become a Captain or a Senator in NCR, or you become head Paladin in the BOS. Something along the lines of MORRORWIND, only a lot less frus...

No.
LA makes sense because it is, literally, the grave of the Master.

Good point, but why not have First Aid heal, and Doctor heals broken x part of body.
However, the consiqunses should be more sever. Say for instance gaingreene, or some other infection.
I know, I am making up random excuses to not change Special in FO3. Sue me.

An interestin point, but than again, I do not really want to change Special that much. How about this? Say, you have lockpick. With a very high roll, you could not only open it, you could keep the lock and sell it, or use it. Or with guns. Why not begin adding chances to criticals after about 110%? ...

Wait.
Are you suggesting Fo3 play like 3rd Ed. AD&D?

You see, overall, I am beggining to belive that having one or three highly advanced cities would be all that bad. Almost the contrary, in fact. I belive it would be interesting to have the ability to destroy the now flourishing NCR in FO3, and in my view, the bigger the diffirence between the cities...

The thing that I do not understand is that they escaped on the Freighter, right? So that means they landed in San Fran, correct?
Well, 'isnt V13 alot closer to San Fran than Arroyo?

An interesting idea.
However, am I the only one who thinks that some sort of Mutocracy would be interesting somewhere? One that, ironicly, creates a bible esque version of the teachings of the Master?
Perhaps LA?

Well, before you mentioned the NCR disk, I was think a sort of Mutocracy that fallowed a group of religious texsts based on the teachings of the Master. Perhaps there could even be some glorious final battle between the NCR and the Remnatns?

Mad Max RW wrote:Not one of the weapons in TFC were portrayed realistically. I haven't played BF1942, so I can't make an accurate comparison. Besides, anything is better than the cartoonish style of TFC.
It is called Action Half-Life.

Yeah, I don't much like the infantry weapons in BF1942. They either don't seem to do anything or have a rate of fire that's too damn slow to do anything. But driving the vehicles is a lot of fun. Yeah, it is, but I still perfer hiding and launcing that bazooka at the right moment. Could somone prov...

Am I the only one who thought that (another) one of Fo2's major flaws was to have a character from such an alienated style of life? One of the great aspects of Fo, and the main factor that sets it's story line above that of Arcanum is the fact that there was a character from an interesting, relateab...

I think that Arroyo will most likely be an expansionist BoS in FO3, not unlike (shiver) that seen in FoT.
