Not as many nerds as there used to be.

Lionheart won't be a commercial success because it's a niche title. But I can see it gaining a repectable following, similar to Arcanum. NWN only sold because of the D&D name; the game itself is really quite bland. It's customizable, but who has time for that? Everything about NWN was half assed...

Yeah. I'm tired of taking a beating for enjoying this demo. Maybe I jumped the gun a little. It's speculation to be sure, but I think that the special system, which is pretty much like GURPS, could be modified to work well in any setting, and I assume (out of ignorance, I'm told) that this game will...

Ok, so it wasn't made by the core Fallout team. I'm not good with names but there has to be someone at Black Isle that picked up on how to make a good game during the course of their career. Maybe just because it's a BIS game doesn't mean that it MUST be a good game, but it obviously shares a lot wi...

Fairweather Gamers

How can any one think that the game isn't going to be full of sweet dialogue and quests, you know what this team is capable of! If not then you're in the wrong forum... The demo was to get people into the combat and look of the game I think, not so much the story line and deeper tactical elements. M...

Play it yourself

It's rather ignorant to comment based on hearsay and other peoples opinions too. It's a fucking RPG, with real time combat. That does not make an action game.

Demos are not indicative of everything a game has to offer. Combat sytem is better than Arcanum, better than Baldur's Gate, and better than Neverwinter Nights. The SPECIAL system fits the style just fine, and is more flexible and better balanced than most crpg systems. The graphics are great, the ch...

I downloaded it last night, and I'd have to say that this game is going to be fucking kick ass! It's no Fallout, but I think I'm going to enjoy a bit more than any other fantasy RPG in recent memory.

It's child abuse, pure and simple. Rather than present positive values in a respectful manner, they scare their children into behaving. It's the same system organized religion was founded on. Rather than put any effort into it, they say "if your naughty, you're gonna burn!" So they react o...

I read about a similar "summer camp" in Arizona where some kid died because they wouldn't feed him or give him water on this forced march, and he was a diabetic. If I had been sent to one of those things when I was younger, I probably wouldn't have made it out alive either. I would've done...

Dingo, you need to invest in a yellow cab, a .45, and an army jacket, and clean up the scum. Baxa is a great artist, Timothy Bradstreet and Simon Bisely are great artists too. (Vampire: The Masquerade, Lobo, Heavy Metal) I'm actually working on some Fallout stuff now, I'll probably post it next week...

Yeah, I used a number 2 for that one, and it was drawn on the back of a college assignment I never finished. I use pretty low grade supplies, I've been meaning to pick up some more though. I have been inducted into the Fallout PNP European sourcebook "staff", so I'll be producing some Fall...

That isn't the same guy who did the artwork displayed inside the Warcraft 3 manual is it? It doesn't look like the same, unless he's made serious progression since the days of WC 2. (Which is entirely possible...) If it's the same guy, he's really good now, but I never liked his older work too much....

Oh, and the guy that draws for blizzard is alright, but I wouldn't know his name, or consider him an influence.

Influences:

Capcom art team
H.R. Giger
Alphonse Mucha
Yoshitaka Amano
Sam Keith

Took me a couple of hours from sketch to completion. I do start with a skeleton sometimes, but my imagination moves faster than my hand, so I end up moving on through sketching pretty quick, and get down to detail.

I don't doubt it a bit. The barrels in the picture are probably not just full of radioactive "goo." They must take the irradiated debris and place it in some sort of chemical to reduce rick, sort of like a glycol quench (I mean christ, they're in a neighborhood!). Those barrels probably ju...

All of the books were great. The first movie was good, if not completely accurate. The TV series comes in two sets: 3 DVD "Dune", which is the first book, and 3 DVD "Children on Dune", Which is the next two books and the end of the made for TV series. I think the series is quite ...

No problem, in many a forum have I set a newb on fire while squealing with delight. I'm sure I seemed like an idiot, but I wasn't aware of geocities little linking scenario, and the little html I have used was with files stored on my own computer rather than a server, so I wasn't clear on why it wou...

I understood you perfectly well, cocksucker. Man, you regulars are a bunch of pricks. (I'm new to this forum, but not a complete newb elsewhere.) So here it is, nice and big for your mother. Fucker.
