what i hate the most about d&D 3rd edition, is the fact that the system itself brings so much power to the player, and they start acting like a lame version of the power rangers in rpg (like it could be better than lame) powers each level, super freaking cool armors and stances, even the unworth...

when i played adnd, i used a bard, and named him like axl rose, but i changed rose for my name spelled backwards, so that's the origin of my nick

the only i can say, starcraft is the game that longed the most unmodified, since 1997/1998, and even now there are tournaments (sponsored by samsung i guess). i should add, i got tired of that game since 2001.

i think one of the main reasons starcraft looks better than wc, is cause it is futuristics, so u can use long range weapons, the actions is faster and wild, and looking all those units are dying in industrial quantities under your rays/guns/nukes/whatever is more impressive than looking them die by ...
