And now noticing that swell guy is changed to SWELL GUY automatically says that even DAC is giving in. Did I say swell guy as a derogatory? No. I merely used it as it was used in the censored book. Not to show racial superiority but to show how asinine censorship really is. I Miss *Flower*.

Most people miss the point that Twain was trying to make. This was a world in which the "gentleman" reigned supreme and yet all these "swell guy" especially swell guy Jim were not only more gentlemanly but also generally better people than the "gentlemen" of the time. S...

Great game so far. Easily better than F3 (though that's not hard) and while the gameplay isn't TRUE fallout, it still manages to be much more engaging than the third piece of crap. I like the crafting system. It's nice to be able to make your own chems, bullets ect. I REALLY like how you can break d...

Firearm ownership is similar (but obviously not the same) as car ownership. It requires personal responsibility and commitment to safe operation. It also requires (a personal requirement, not a legal one) practice, knowledge and common sense to operate properly. I personally would not be completely ...

I hate it in moves when people are running around with their finger on the trigger of their weapon and it doesn't go off. Also when they have their finger on the trigger up to the second knuckle and they still shoot accurately. More a a pet peeve really, I hate it when "Highly Trained" cha...

The main difference between recruit and the other options is that if you choose recruit then you don't start off with any skill points so it's more of a build the character you want type of situation. The other difference is that apparently you get special "recruit" options in dialog but I...

I've had fun with it. My only complaint is that when you choose your "dialog/action" options it doesn't tell you what you're choosing. It's pretty straightforward on the dialog (key presses correspond to suave/belligerent/professional/end) and the learning curve on that is pretty easy. It'...

Is that for any library? I mean like the "downtown public" ones or is that just for more specialized "campus" libraries?

While the evidence does exist to prove that there was a massive flood in the Mediterranean region of the world, the idea that it covered the entire earth and that an old man with his family built a boat big enough not only to contain 2 of every animal on the planet (a genetic impossibility) but also...

If you don't care about this topic, or view it as just being on a gaming forum then don't participate. I get drunk. A lot. But I don't get on internet forums and try to be the guy screaming FUCK the loudest. You say you're educated. Show it. Stop sounding like a 13 year old kid who thinks loudest is...

Whereas Barak Obama represents all the sensible and well reasoned people of this country? They both aim for their lowest common denominator. Perhaps I should add one thing to my (youngish, good looking rockstar) statement (although that is still the primary comparison). Neither one of them REALLY br...

Wow. No one has mentioned the lawyers yet? Malpractice suits are far too common in this country and that's what helps raise the prices on everything. Most Dr.s that have a private practice in this country pay nearly 50% of their income to malpractice insurance. It's even higher for hospitals who cov...

Sorry I haven't posted in a while. I've been lurking these past few months but nothing has gotten me riled up enough to post about it. In this case whenever someone from another country asks about politics here I feel it is my duty to make my stance known. This prevents us (and US) from being viewed...

The Tea-Party movement was originally (as I saw it) a protest about our level of national debt and the fact that the government was showing no signs of reducing their spending. In fact they were talking about increasing it. Since then it HAS been hijacked by ultra conservatives as well as ultra libe...

It's been a long time since a FPS came along that was able to suck me in as much as HL did. Op4 was the SHIT and yeah, Blue Shit was really only good for the texture pack. I beat that one in about 3 hours which is horrible when compared to the other games.

No idea about the demo. I found it just fucking around with Steam the other day. Like I said, it seems pretty good but it's hard. I just sent a BMP-2 into a mountain pass without infantry support and it got raped by RPG's. It's pretty realistic. The only thing I would really change is putting troops...

Just started playing "9th Company - Roots of Terror" that I got off Steam.

It's an RTS where you play as the Soviets against the Mujaheddin in Afghanistan. It's pretty well detailed and somewhat realistic from what I've seen so far. Can't seem to find anything about it on the net though.

Crappy DLC for a crappy game from a crappy company. I unloaded one of their games from my computer and it took 30 minutes. Only took 5 to install.
