Microsoft recently announced that they will not be bringing the only slated version of Fallout 3 to India, citing "cultural sensitivities." In an official statement released, Microsoft had to say the following:
Microsoft constantly endeavors to bring the best games to Indian consumers in sync with their international release. However, in light of cultural sensitivities in India, we have made the business decision to not bring Fallout 3 into the country.
My guess? Brahmin. Cows are sacred in India and Brahmin is an Indian cultural and religious term to my understanding. Somehow I'm suprised that Bethesda didn't just further censor the product such as after Australia refused the game classification.
