In their latest SEC filing, Interplay revealed that they are - Re-opening their in-house games studio, and hiring Jason Anderson of Fallout and Troika fame as the creative director of an as yet unannounced MMO
- Still working on securing funding for a seperate project, their Fallout MMO
- "Exploring ways to leverage their mpressive portfolio of gaming properties through sequels and various development and publishing arrangements"
Although they've sold off they're most valuable asset, the Fallout license, Interplay still holds the rights to several impressive games, such as Earthworm Jim, Descent, Sacrifice and MDK (Mother's Day Kisses). It should be safe to assume that the MMO being developed by Jason Anderson will be using one of these licenses. My money's on Descent, but I would personally prefer another Sacrifice game.
