More info on Film & TV: Night of the Comet

I heard about this several days ago and Ain't It Cool News just confirmed it. A sequel to the 1984 B-movie Night of the Comet is in the works. If you've never seen it, the premise was Haley's Comet passes earth turning all living things into a red ash. The only survivors are a handful of teens and ravenous zombie vampire things. It's not worth checking out, but if you're insane like me and have to see every post apocalyptic style movie, then by all means feel free to torture yourself with a rent.

Ain't It Cool has a press release stating the original cast and director are back for the sequel. There's a few quotes from Kelli Maroney, the annoying cheerleader, who says some stupid things. She's gotta be in her 40's now... Oh well, read it here.
