Loudedinc have put up their impressions of Hellgate London, after viewing it at E3.
There was only one class on show at E3, the Templar
which is loosely based on
the Knights Templar but no matter how much I poked and probed the
Flagship crew weren't going to give anything away about the other
classes but they have
apparently been decided already by the team. A single scenario was put
together
for the show which included burned out streets of London and this was
really to
show off the fast pace of the game. Running through the streets armed
to the
teeth with magical weaponry was a blast and it's thanks to the
interesting weapons
system Flagship are employing for this title.
I'm hoping that the classes are more interesting than the standard warrior, mage, paladin... stuff that you get in a lot of RPGs.
