Gamespy played some Auto Assault at E3. They thought it was great:
The environments were completely destructible, which was a real joy.
Buildings would explode, then the disintegrating walls would crumple to
the ground or slowly topple over in a splay of bricks. Wanton
destruction also means tons of phat lewt, so it's worth it to destroy
everything in sight: new weapons and crafting materials were constantly
spewing out all over the place. Speaking of loot, the dynamic drop
system has tons of randomized stats for each weapon: you can completely
customize your car, playing around with firing rates or damage types
based on what equipment you scavenge.
They also have some new screenshots, and I have to admit I liked the look of this one. It looks a bit like Back to the Future's DeLorean.
