STALKER continues to be vapourware
STALKER continues to be vapourware [ Game -> Update ]

More info on Game: S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Shadows of Chernobyl

There's some report out for THQ that talks about the highlights of the fiscal year 2006 for the publisher. STALKER isn't on that list, implying that the game might not make a 2006 release date. Oblivion-Lost asked the publisher what was going on and got a typical PR response:

"THQ's financial year runs from April 1st 2005 through to March 31st 2006. This is standard practise and widely known in the industry and business. There was no mention of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. as we have already announced it many times in the investor relations announcements. We have no definitive release date yet for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. We do expect to have some announcements, including a public demonstration this summer. More news to follow."

I love the smell of vapourware in the morning.
